RENCONTRES INTERNATIONALES PARIS/BERLIN MARCH 13-19 2017 PARIS

Major event dedicated to contemporary audiovisual creation, Les Rencontres Internationales will be held in Paris from March 13-19, 2017, at Gaîté Lyrique and will create during 7 days a space for discovery and sharing focused on contemporary moving image practices.

Crossing new cinema and contemporary art, this unique platform in Europe provides a rare opening on contemporary audiovisual practices. Documentary approaches, experimental fictions, videos, hybrid forms: the programme of Les Rencontres Internationales is the result of a thorough research and of invitations to some artists, personalities from cinema and the contemporary art fields.

In the presence of artists and filmmakers from all over the world, you will attend indoor screenings – premieres, cartes blanches, special events, video focus -, performances , panel discussions and a forum led by directors of art centres and museums, curators, artists and distributors who will share with the audience their experience and views on new audiovisual practices.
