MOUSE HUNT [ENG]
by G. Verbinsky
A convincing start on the big screen for the director of the very pleasant commercial with beer and ant-eater vs. ants.
An unbiased mix among American slapsticks from the thirties, the Coen bros. and Home Alone with its not-so-various sequels.
C. Walken, wild as a goose, resembling John Belushi in 1941, two good actors, and, almost undetectable, special effects(well harmonised inside the images and not so prominent as in the recent past) make up the concoction: not bad.
It’s just a pity that, as Marco Giusti rightly observes, the players are one against the other for too long, given also the nature of the audience (mostly children?) and of the story itself.
